It's easy! First, download the harmonizer . This program runs in the background and synchronizes the music on your computer with us. Then all you have to do is log in to the player with your facebook account and click on "music" in the top right menu. From there you can put artists, albums, and songs into the queue on the lefthand side.

Log in to the player, click on friends in the top right menu, and double click on a friend. From their profile, you can queue up any of their spotlights and listen to them in their entirety. If you're a premium user, you can click the browse link to view and listen to their entire library.

harmonize.fm is connected to your facebook account and uses your facebook friends as your friends. Currently you must have a facebook account to use harmonize.fm.

A Spotlight is an album or playlist you want to share and discuss with your friends. It is highlighted on the music feed, so Spotlights are a great way to gain exposure to music you think the world needs to know about. Also, checking out your friends' Spotlights is a great way to find new music!

We certainly hope to. Ideally you will be able to link into any number of social networks on harmonize.fm, but for now we are focusing on facebook.

Yeeeee... no. Listening to your music online is fine, but listening to a friends' without paying the artist is not. We're in active talks with a number of labels and distributors and will have the proper deals in place before we allow the general public to use the product.
